About the design
Our pun theme with London illustrator Sam Moore, taken as far as it will go. Tech house has been one of the most popular and enduring subgenres of house music for more than two decades.
The name began as record-shop shorthand for sounds blending techno with house, and the scene grew around figures such as Mr C, Dave Angel, Herbert, Derrick Carter, and Stacey Pullen. Read our interview with Mr C about his legendary club, The End.
