About the design
What began as a joke soon became one of house music's most popular subgenres. Popularized by Kygo, Thomas Jack, and Matoma, tropical house sounds like a cool G&T on a Balearic beach.
From steel drums to pan flutes, it played its part in the evolution of dance music, and it has earned its pun. Designed in collaboration with London illustrator Sam Moore.

About the designer
Sam Moore is an illustrator and animator based in London. He studied at Camberwell College of Arts, and his clients include Google, the BBC, English Heritage, and Raspberry Pi. His work is influenced by artists such as Keith Haring, Hergé, and Chris Ware, and he takes inspiration from dance music, pop culture, and the people of London.
